An Edwardian gold hunting brooch, comprising fox head and riding crop, with pearl, diamond point and ruby accents.
Length 4.8cms. 6.6gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Rubies appear a well matched pinky red.
Minor abrasions.
Pearl untested for natural origin.
Pearl is oval shape, central ringing, varied overtones and fair lustre.
Electronically tested at fox head as approximately 20ct gold, presumed gilt interference.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
