Lot Description

A late 17th/early 18th century gold 'Stuart Crystal' slide, depicting Cupid, with monogram MS.

Length 2.1cms. 4.7gms.

Scratches and small marks. General slight discolouration.
Moderate wear to one side of the detail to the surround.
Slight apparent trapped moisture to the  inside of the slide.
Rock crystal with few abrasions, mostly facet-edge wear.
Minimal enamel losses, most noticeably to the heart the figure is holding.
