Full Lot Description

A late 19th century 15ct gold garnet, pink paste & split pearl ring.

Hallmarks for 15ct gold, partially indistinct.

Ring size P. 1.4gms.

Condition Report

Some surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.

Band out of shape.

Light wear to floral engraving on the band.

Some claws worn.

Garnet light purplish-pink hue. With some surface scratches and nick/nibbles to table and facet edges.

Pink pastes bright reddish-pink hue. With some to fairly heavy abrasion, surface scratches and nick/nibbles. One with a large chip/fracture to the table.

Split pearls with typical surface blemishes and some nacre damage. One with fairly heavy nacre damage.

Length of ring head 1cm.
