Lot Description
A pair of Indian mid 19th century silver and gold, rose-cut diamond, ruby and emerald pierced foliate earrings, with pearl drop and surmount.
French assay marks.
Length 6.7cms. 18.6gms.
Pearls untested for natural origin.
With fitted Harrod's retail case.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Pearls and surmounts presumed later replacements circa 1920-30 for Harrords retail.
Gems are in closed, foil back settings.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Emeralds appear fairly well matched bright deep medium slightly bluish green.
Rubies are a combination of faceted and cabochon and appear a fairly well matched light medium to deep slightly pinkish red through purplish red hues.
Minimal abrasions, very few minor nibbles/nicks.
Pearls untested for natural origin.
Pearls appear well matched, off-round with a white through cream hue, varied overtones.
Pearls estimated length range 7 to 5.1mms.
French horsehead and maker's mark (partially obscured/worn) to attached jump ring to top of main component.
Hook and clip fittings for pierced ears.
