Lot Description
A late Victorian gold snake-link swag necklace, suspending a graduated series of five turquoise drops, the central three with glazed reverse.
Length 45cms. 27gms.
With fitted case.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Varied discolouration, presumed acid discolouration, some significant.
Turquoise are a medium blue through greenish blue hues.
One blue paste replacement.
Possible further replacement gems, few slightly ill-fitting to mounts, some slight losses to mounts.
Glass to reverse of central locket is chipped at the point. All show discolouration to interior.
Length of central drop 4.4cms.
Electronically tests as approximately 20 to 18ct gold, possible interference from gilt finish.
