A mid to late 19th century silver and gold amethyst, old-cut diamond and enamel brooch.
Central amethyst calculated weight 7.82cts, based on estimated dimensions of 14 by 7.5mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct.

Scratches and small marks. General moderate discolourations.
Alterations.
Probable replacement brooch fittings.
Drops show alterations, soft solder visible to reverse.
Side drops are fixed, stationary.
White metal to diamond mounts.
Electronically tests to reverse as approximately 13ct gold.

Amethyst appear a well matched, bright, deep pinkish purple.
