A Georgian gold mounted portrait miniature pendant of a woman, by Thomas Redmond, circa 1769.
Length 4.6cms. 12.3gms.
With D.S. Lavender retailer's cardboard case.
The son of a clergyman, he was apprenticed to a house painter at Bristol before studying at St. Martin's Lane Academy. He exhibited at the Society and Free Society of Artists, at the R.A., in Brecon and Bath.
