A late Georgian bicolour gold 'Regard' hinged locket brooch. Length 2.8cms. 4.1gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks. General discolouration.
Base metal pin. Pin hinge is slightly loose, may benefit from attention.
The interior of the brooch is deficient the glass.
The brooch closes securely.
Electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
