A late 19th century 15ct gold graduated opal hinged bangle.
Central opal calculated weight 0.67ct, based on estimated dimensions of 9.5 by 6 by 2.6mms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Claws variously worn, some with small fissures or minor losses. May benefit from attention.
Few opals currently slightly loose in their mounts.
Safety chain is presumed late, slight discolouration, one link is base metal.
Opals have a transluscent white body colour, with good to very good, fairly well matched play of colour across a range of hues.
One opal (to end of the line) is chipped.
Electronically tests as approximately 15ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
