A late Victorian gold opal and diamond cluster hinged bangle, with brooch fitting.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity.
Diameter of cluster 1.2cms.
Inner diameter 5.7cms.
Length of brooch 4.6cms. 23.8gms.
With fitted W. Batty & Sons case.

Surface scratches and minor marks. Slight discolourations.
File scratch to the side of the lower half of the bangle
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Opal appears a milky white, good play of colour across a range of hues.
Opal shows moderate abrasion, small nick toward edge.
Box clasp at fault.
Electronically tests as approximately 14-15ct gold.
