A 19th century sardonyx cameo ring, carved to depict a young cupid pulling at a scantily clad woman's clothes.

Ring size L1/2. 6.3gms.

Mount appears two tone, believed replacement band, soft solder visible at shoulders.
Varied discolouration.
Agate has a slightly irregular surface. Wear to the finer details of the carving. Small chip/nick to a corner.
