An early to mid 19th century gold glazed hair panel and turquoise memorial brooch.
Length 2.5cms. 5gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Base metal pin.
Glazed panel with woven hair inset. Minor water damage.
Glass with slight abrasions.
Turquoise appear a light medium blue through deep slightly bluish green. Slight dark matrix visible.
Two turquoise cracked, general slight abrasion and few minimal nibbles/nicks.
Electronically tests to front as approximately 16ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
