Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold pavé-set turquoise hawk, with pink sapphire eyes and rose-cut diamond beak, later mounted to a bar brooch.
Bar stamped 9ct.
Length of bird 2.7cms. Length of bar 5.2cms. 7.3gms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Bar is slightly loose to the bird, some soft solder visible.
Bird was previously a stickpin. Screw thread visible to base.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Estimated total diamond weight under 0.02ct.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Eyes appear a fairly well matched deep medium reddish pink.
Turquoise appear fairly well matched, some with green discolouration.
One blue paste replacement near a wing tip, chipped.
