A late Victorian Scottish gold agate panel bracelet. Length 18.4cms. 41.2gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Later safety chain. Safety chain is attached through a drilled hole to one of the agate panels, drill hole with small associated crack.
Panels have later claws to each corner, discolouration to claws and chain segments.
Electronically tests to a mount and a set of connecting links as approximately 18ct gold.
Electronically tests to clasp tongue as approximately 15-16ct gold.
Possible interference from gilt finish.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
