Lot Description

A mid to late 19th century gold, old-cut diamond, enamel and pearl brooch.

Length 2.5cms. 4.2gms.
Pearls untested for natural origin.

Surface scratches and varied discolouration.
One pearl mount to quatrefoil has been re-attached, soft solder visible.
Replacement clasp.
Enamel in black and turquoise blue hues.
Enamel with various damamges/losses.
Estimated diamond weight under 0.10ct, H-I colour, SI clarity.
Pearls untested for natural origin.
Pearls appear a slightly purplish brown hue. Varied overtones and lustre.
Two pearls appear slightly discoloured with internal fractures.
