A mid to late Victorian gold, enamel, rose-cut diamond and gem-set hinged bangle, by Carlo Giuliano.
Inner diameter 6.7cms. 67.4gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Maker's meark near clasp, stamped 50.
Presumed later safety clasp.
Added panels to the back of bangle and supporting the central panel, decoration to the sides is not continued.
Enamel is slightly puckered at the edges and slightly uneven across the surface.
Some replacement gems.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
One diamond deficient, another with significant losses.
Rubies appear a well matched fairly bright, medium pinky red. Minor nicks, slight abrasions.
Emeralds appear a well matched medium slightly bluish green.
Two emeralds with small chips, general slight abrasions.
Unable to assess foil back pear-shape cabochon gems due to size and setting, believed to be pale amethyst or rock crystal. Minor to moderate abrasions.
Deterioration to the foil backing.
Diameter of central component 3.3cms.
Width of back half of bangle 2cms.
