Lot Description

A late Victorian silver and gold, rose-cut diamond, ruby, sapphire and split pearl butterfly brooch.

Length 3.9cms. 8.3gms.

General discolouration.
Diamonds appear relatively bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
One brilliant-cut diamond replacement.
Two rose-cut diamonds chipped.
Rubies appear a well matched deep red and pinkish red.
Sapphires appear a well matched deep medium blue.
One split pearl shows discolouration and wear.
