A pair of late Victorian gold split pearl bangles.
Inner diameters 5.5 and 5.8cms. 21gms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks. Varied discolouration, possible small repairs.
Minor differences between the bangles, one possibly deficient a small section of rope-twist border, one clasp grip appears altered, thinner than the other.
Some noticeable split pearl, seed pearl and one imitation split pearl replacement.
Split pearls appear fairly well matched.
Few appear cracked.
Glue visible to some mounts.
Electronically tests to one as approximately 9ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
