An early 20th century gold French-cut amethyst and seed pearl wreath brooch, by Cartier.
Diameter 3.1cms. 4.9gms.
With non-associated later Cartier cardboard case.

Probable replacement clasp, discolouration to surrounding area.
File nick to back of inside edge.
Engraved Cartier, stamped four digit number indistinct due to placement, ends in a 7.

Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
Seed pearls appear well matched.
Two probable replacements, slightly different sizes, appearing slightly raised in the settings.
