A late Victorian gold alternating citrine and amethyst fringe necklace.
Central amethyst calculated weight 5.77cts, based on estimated dimensions of 13.3 by 11.1 by 7mms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Jump ring terminal base metal replacement.
Chain links variously stretched.
Length of fringe section 17.7cms.
Length of central drop 2.3cms.
Amethyst appear fairly well matched.
Citrine show slightly orangey yellow, varied tone and saturation.
Gems with general minor abrasions, three citrine with small chips.
Electronically tests to chain as approximately 9ct gold.
Electronically tests to a mount as approximately 13-14ct gold.
