A Victorian gold pave-set turquoise, ruby and split pearl bird brooch.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks. General discolouration.
Converted from a two-chain slider.
Later brooch component stamped 9ct.
Small loop within the mount, possibly previously with a drop.
One garnet replacement cabochon to a wing.
One turquoise deficient.
One replacement blue paste.
Turquoise appear a slightly mottled light medium blue through greenish blue.
Rubies appear a fairly well matched pinky red.
Estimated dimensions of the bird 4.1 by 3.1cms.
