A late 19th century silver and gold, amethyst and old-cut diamond star brooch.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Brooch fitting unscrews.
Brooch fitting with replacement clasp and pin hinge.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Nine diamonds with small nick/chips.
Amethyst presumed replacement, slight gapping.
Amethyst appears a fairly bright, medium slightly pinkish purple.
Amethyst calculated weight 0.66ct, based on estimated dimensions of 5.6 by 4mms.
