Lot Description
A late 18th century gold enamel pocket watch with split pearl surround, the reverse with enamel pastoral scene of a couple. Signed full plate key wind fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and general wear.
Diameter of watch 4.4cms.
Dial and movement signed J'n Fran's Carrè.
Dial with chips around the key hole, varied small dirt/discolourations.
Enamel with minor losses tot he leaves of the surround.
Split pearls appear fairly well matched, slight discolourations and wear.

Electronically tests as approximately 17-18ct gold.
