Early 20th century gold boulder opal brooch

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Wear to the edge of the gilding.
Base metal safety chain and attached jump ring presumed later, discolouration/solder at the jump ring.
oulder opal is rough hewn.
Dark matrix visible. Grey to deep blue body colour.
Opal shows striations of good play of colour, predominantly green, blue and orangish pink hues.
