A mid to late 19th century gold lapis lazuli, rose-cut diamond and pearl shield brooch.
French marks.
Length 4.2cms. 14.5gms.
Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin.
Pearls untested for natural origin.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
General discolouration.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Cut, size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin.
Lapis lazuli appears a slightly mottled deep blue, small flecks of pyrite.
Small chip/nicks to one side of the panel.
Pearls untested for natural origin.
Pearls appear fairly well matchedslight differences in hue and lustre, estimated diameter 3.5 to 4.5mms.
