A late 19th century gold amethyst and seed pearl floral brooch.
May be worn as a brooch.
Amethyst calculated weight 4.56cts, based on estimated dimensions of 11.4 by 6.6mms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks. General dirt.
Hook and hinged loop to reverse.
Amethyst appears a fairly bright, deep slightly pinkish purple, slight colour zoning. Central window effect.
Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
Seed pearls appear well matched with silvery cream hue, moderate overtones. Good lustre.
Varied wear to nacre layers.
Electronically tests to reverse as approximately 19-20ct gold, possible interference from gilt finish.
