Lot Description
A late 19th century silver and gold brooch, depicting a baroque pearl, old-cut diamond and ruby bee on a white enamel and rose-cut diamond Corinthian column.
Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.50ct, G-I colour, VS clarity.
Length 2.7cms. 8.6gms.
Pearl untested for natural origin.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
General significant discolouration.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Ruby appears a bright pinky red.
Pearl untested for natural colour origin.
Pearl appears baroque, with a light creamy white hue, minimal overtones, good lustre.
Pearl estimated dimensions of 9 by 7.2 by 6mms.
Electronically tests to flat top of the column as approximately 15ct gold.
