Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold rose-cut diamond horse stickpin, with garnet eye.
Length of stickpin head 1.5cms. 2gms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
General discolouration/tarnish.
One of the horses back legs is bent, minor associated tear.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Garnet appears a deep slightly purplish red.
Electronically tests to reverse of stickpin head as approximately 14-15ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
