Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold demantoid garnet and split pearl crescent moon brooch, with similarly-set earrings.
Brooch stamped 15ct.
Diameter of brooch 2.5cms. Diameter of earrings 0.8cm. 7.3gms.
With fitted Bramwell & Sons case.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Wear to the gilt finish to the reverse of the brooch.
Demantoid garnets appear bright and fairly well matched with a medium to deep yellowy green.
Two demantoid garnets to an earring with minor chips.
Split pearls appear well matched.
Few split pearls with cracks and/or losses to the nacre.
Earrings have replacement post fittings, fittings stamped 9ct. Associated wear to the gilt finish.
Electronically tests to reverse of an earring as approximately 14-15ct gold.
