A 17th century post-medieval gold memento mori ring, comprising alternating skull and saltires, the interior with inscription 'Prepared bee to follow mee'.
Maker's mark R, possibly for John Richardson.

Traces remain of enamel, whitish to the skulls and black to the crosses.
