Step 1: Valuation

Unlock the potential value of your items with our free valuation service. Our specialists, based in Birmingham and London, will assess your item and provide you with an auction estimate. Choose from the flexibility of completing our online form, visiting our offices, or scheduling a virtual valuation appointment.

At every step of the way, you can manage your valuation journey from your My Fellows account. You will be updated via email when your valuation is completed so that you can progress to the next step.

Step 2: Agree

Once you have received your valuation, you will need to agree to the auction estimate provided by our team.

Online: In your My Fellows account, use the valuations section to confirm prices and sign the agreement.

In Person: If you would rather deal with our team face-to-face, you can book an appointment at one of our offices to sign the necessary paperwork.

Upon agreement, your item will be catalogued and assigned to one of our upcoming specialist auctions.

Step 3: Consign

By Post: Our insurance guarantees coverage for the auction value of your items, ensuring their secure delivery. In order to be covered by our insurance, you must use the Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed service. For heavier or oversized items, our insurance also covers Parcel Force, as long as it is tracked and signed for.

If you are not based in the UK, please get in touch before sending any items to us.

Once you have the tracking number, please provide this to us and we will be able to track your parcel on its journey. Make sure to include your name, address, and contact details.

Please send any items to:
Fellows Auctioneers,
Augusta House,
19 Augusta Street,
Birmingham
B18 6JA

In Person: Alternatively, you can drop off your items at our offices in Birmingham or London.

You will receive pre-sale advice by email before the auction takes place. This will show you how to access the auction information for your item including lot number and photos as well as the full catalogue description and condition report. You can track the status of your items in the consignments section of your My Fellows account.

Step 4: Sell

You will receive post-sale advice via email once the auction has been completed. The consignments section of your My Fellows account will update to include the hammer price once the auction has finished.

You will receive payment for any sold items by bank transfer, after fifteen working days of auction completion. Make sure that your bank details are up-to-date in your My Fellows account.

The amount you will receive will be the hammer price minus the seller's commission charge and associated fees.

Use the selling fee calculator to work out how much you would receive if you entered your item for sale into one of our auctions.
