Full Lot Description
A set of six Arts & Crafts style silver and enamel spoons by Bernard Instone, each with planished bowl reverse and a tapered stem leading to an inset enamel terminal depicting a stylised thistle, in a fitted case. Hallmarked Langstone Silver Works, Birmingham 1930, with further facsimile signature to reverse of terminals. Approximate length 3.75" (9.5cm), gross weight 1.89 ozt (58.7 grams).

<li>All displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age.
<li>The bowls have generally faired well.
<li>A couple of the stems appear very slightly bent or 'flatter'.
<li>
<li>Some small chips/losses to enamel, mostly around the pointed tips. Mainly on four spoons.
<li>Otherwise the colours of the enamel still appear bright.
<li>All hallmarked to heel of spoon reverse and these clear and legible.
<li>Facsimile signatures located to reverse of each terminal, one partly rubbed and worn, others in good order.
<li>Case with heavy wear, scuffs and losses to exterior, interior lining dirty and discoloured.
