An 18ct gold boulder opal and diamond pendant.
Signed Leisha.
Hallmarks for Edinburgh.
Length 6.7cms. 4.6gms.
Leisha Wheeler is the jewellery designer wife of Birmingham born John Wheeler, who moved to Australia in the 1970s to open an opal mine. Leisha is believed to have used gems from their Lightning Ridge mine in the jewellery that she designed.

<li>Opal appears to be a boulder opal. Unable to see sides of stone due to setting. Possibility that the stone is a doublet.
<li>Boulder opal displays a fairly strong play-of-colour effect to the front, with ironstone to the reverse.
<li>Boulder opal in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
