Lot Description

A mechanical travel alarm clock with dial signed by Imhof, the tan brown leather case opens to reveal a silvered dial with luminous Arabic numerals surrounded by smooth domed bezel, case back numbered 1155098 and marked Swiss lever escapement C.249. Case height when open 88mm.

Travel clock, movement is currently functioning however would benefit from an overhaul. Outer case has a number of grazes and scuffs to the case with the inner lining and stand showing some liquid damage. Case has lost some of it's gilt plating to it's bezel and reverse. There is trapped dirt and debris below the glass however that aside the dial appears to be in good condition, hands show some light corrosion, luminous paint is a little dirty, plastic glass is heavily scratched and would benefit from being cleaned.
