The waiter has general wear commensurate with the age and use, with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. The rim shows more noticeable signs of wear with some cracks to the surface of the silver, to the reverse along the inside rim of the border is a repair visible as a length of solder 2 inches long, there are also two other areas where repairs are visible with additional supporting  pieces of silver have been added. The silver to the centre of the salver is thin and is able to be moved. The hallmarks are a little rubbed but clearly legible.
