George III pair of silver sauce boats made by Hester Bateman with 'stamped' rim, high arch leaf capped handle and raised above three shell mounted hoof feet. Hallmarked London 1779. Height including handle 4 1/4 inches (11 cm).

The pair of silver sauce boats are in good condition, there are general scratches marks and surface tarnishing ad general wear and tear reflecting the age of the piece. The hallmarks are a little rubbed,more so in some areas, but clearly legible to both parts.
