Lot Description

An early twentieth century card holder of curved rectangular form with banded engine turned decoration and vacant circular cartouche. Hallmarked G. Unite Birmingham 1918. Length measuring 3 1/4 inches (8 cm).

Overall the card case is in good condition, there are general scratches, marks and a little surface tarnishing. There is some rubbing of the engi9ne turned detail. The gilding to the interior has rubbed, especial in areas of contact and shows general discolouration. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
