A mid 20th century silver snuff box with gilt interior, the lid is bordered with acanthus leaf decoration, hallmarked by Lawrence Emanuel, Birmingham 1945, length measures approximately 2 1/2 inches (6 1/2 cm), weight 2.32 ozt (72.1 grams).

Condition Report
The snuff box is in a fair condition, the solder join is visible to one side. The gilt interior is quite bright but tarnished at the corners. The hinge is in good working order and the lid closes flush. The detailing to the rim is quite rubbed. The hallmarks to the lid and main body are very clear. There are general wear and tear surface scratches.
