A late Victorian silver snuff box, hallmarked Thomas Hayes, Birmingham 1899, with embossed floral decoration and vacant cartouche. Length 2 inches (5cm) and weight 0.85 ozt (26.43 grams).

The snuff box is in good overall condition commensurate with age and use, there are general scratches, marks and tarnishing. The bright cut engraving remains clear and crisp. The interior is discoloured with noticeable wear to the gilding. There is slight 'rounding' to the corners. The cartouche is currently vacant.
