A late Victorian silver toast rack of simple form with ball feet, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London 1897.

There are general wear and tear scratches in keeping with the age and use of the piece, there are some small deeper scratches to the piece also and some pitting. The toast rack sits flat on the table. The centre section dips slightly in the middle. There are some sections of tarnishing, particularly around the joins. There are some numbers lightly scratched into the underside of the base.
