Lot Description

A George III silver pair cased key wind pocket watch, the white enamel dial with large black Arabic numerals, the silver pair case hallmarked Birmingham 1825, housing an unsigned full plate movement with verge escapement and fuse, numbered 261. Outer case diameter 51mm. Together with a base metal Swiss made alarm pocket watch, and a  lady's silver fob watch with cylinder escapement A/F.

The outer case is tarnished, scratched and marked throughout with light surface ripples, and a few small knocks, there are the remains of repair papers on the inside, the inner case having more note-able knocks and deterioration to the surface in one area that appears to be pealing. The enamel dial is in good order having surface debris that can be cleaned, the blue steel hands are miss-matched, and the verge movement is complete and will run for short periods dial down. The Alarm pocket watch requires a fair degree of work, case has extensive wear to the nickel plating, the case back not shutting tightly, the dial has marks and speckling throughout, the hour hand has snapped off,  the movement will run for short periods, and the pin set and alarm functions are operating. The ladies silver fob watch is in poor condition and is for spares or repairs purposes only.
