Lot Description

A George VI 9ct gold keyless wind full hunter pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer minute track, six o’clock subsidiary seconds, plain Dennison case hallmarked Birmingham 1939, and numbered 667662, fitted with a 15 jewel movement with a Swiss lever escapement, case diameter 47mm.

The case is in good overall condition, having surface marks and scratches, and the odd very light ding, the hinges are still tight, front cover  release operating well, the dial is clean with a few small specks of surface debris, the hands are also in good order having a few surface imperfections. The 15 jewel movement is stamped Elsinore, has an overcoil hairspring and is in good condition, and running smoothly at present. Handset and winding operating smoothly.
