George III Irish silver twin handled cup and cover with ovolo band with beaded border, acanthus frieze, ram mounted handles and the raised above a circular foot and square base. Hallmarked Dublin 1775, the makers mark I.I (?). Height measuring 13 inches (33 cm), weight 41 ozt (1298 grams).

The Irish cup and cover appears in overall in condition displaying wear commensurate with the age and use. There are general scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is a repair to the base. The lid does not sit 100% flush however commensurate with the age and use. Hallmarks rubbed. There is a possible repair where the main body meets the stem, visible to the interior and also loss in definition to the exterior. Hallmarks rubbed.
