George III silver cream jug with swag engraving, reeded rim, flat top handle, personal initial engraving and raised above four ball feet. Hallmarked London 1809, the maker possibly Peter & William Bateman. Height including handle 4 1/4 inches (11 cm), weight 5.6 ozt (175 grams).

The cream jug displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is a shallow dent to the engraved band. The interior shows pitting marks from use. The hallmarks are rubbed, but legible, makers mark rubbed as described in the description.
