George III silver mounted wine coaster, the circular body with open work oak leaves wooden base...

The George III silver mounted wine coaster, has light surface wear and tear scratches and areas of tarnishing, with some loss of detail, particularly to the border, due to polishing and also areas of gathered polish. The solder join to the main body is becoming visible. The upward facing part of the wooden base is quite dirty and would benefit from a clean. The material to the base is marked and worn, through to the wood in places. There are some gaps around the edge were the silver is mounted to the wooden base and a small soldered split which seems to have been done in the mounting process. The hallmark is very rubbed and illegible.
