Lot Description
Two late 19th/early 20th century items, to include a circular hinged locket, with a central blue enamel monogram and enamel border also a diamond and cultured pearl panel, in the shape of a blue enamelled cross with a central old European cut diamond and seed pearl border. The panel possibly previously attached to a locket/brooch. Diameter of locket 2cms. Total weight 8.84gms.

Condition Report
The locket is in overall good condition. There are slight scratches and a dent to the back case. The blue enamel is in fairly good condition, there is a small chip to one of the central letters only visible with magnification. The inner painted portrait is in good condition and the locket closes secure. The loose panel is in good condition, the enamel is in excellent condition, the central diamond is quite heavily included with some surface reaching inclusions, the outer seed pearls are not very well matched some more yellow with cracks and damage to the nacre. There is lead solder visible to the back where it was preciously attached to something else.
