Lot 333

Lot Description

A Continental small silver figure of a sailing ship, modelled with two large and one smaller sail, mounted on an ebonised oval base, stamped 925.  Maximum height including base measures 10.5 cm.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The item displays general wear and surface marks and scratches.  There is also some tarnishing and minor edge nicks.  The two larger sails are slightly bent over towards the top.  The smallest sail is dinted and is now hanging very loose.  The underside of the ship is stamped 925 amongst other marks but these are difficult to read.  It is difficult to comment on whether the item is still 'as made'.  The oval base is in good condition.
