Edwardian silver pill box of oval hinged form, the lid surmounted with an enamelled cockerel, hallmarked Adie & Lovekin Ltd Birmingham 1909, measuring 27mm by 23 mm. Together with a circular continental example, diameter measuring 25 mm. Gross combined weight 22 grams. (2).

The Edwardian silver pill box appears with general scratches, marks and heavy noticeable tarnishing, numerous small dints and bumps visible and the enamel is in poor condition, the hallmarks are clear and legible. The continental example also displays general scratches, marks, tarnishing and wear commensurate with the age and use, the lid is engraved FAH.
