Victorian silver vesta case of small rectangular from with curved edge, foliate engraving and central shield cartouche with initial engraving. Together with a silver plated vesta case. (2).

Condition Report
The silver vesta case displays general wear commensurate with the age and use. There are general surface marks and scratches and some wear and rubbing to the engraved decoration. There are also some minor nicks/dints in the metal. The interior displays rust. The hinge is in good working order. The hallmarks are partly obscured, Birmingham, either 1886 or 1896.
The silver plated example displays general wear and surface marks and scratches and some rubbing to the decoration. The hinge is in good working order.
