Lot Description
Two early 20th century diamond and sapphire set rings, to include a five stone diamond ring, of abstract scroll design pave set with graduated old cut diamonds and diamond points, hallmarks for Birmingham 1912, together with a sapphire and diamond boat shaped ring, the three sapphires interspaced by diamond point detail. Hallmarks for Chester 1918. Weight 5gms.

Condition Report
Both rings are in overall good condition. All settings will need attention to check the security of the diamonds and sapphires. The diamonds do not match. There is a mixture of old European cut, single cut and point points. The central oval sapphire is heavily included. Nibbles and scratches can be seen to the surface. It has a blue to grey hue. Chips and nibbles can be seen to most of the stones. Inclusions can also be seen. The all diamond ring shank is a little bent out of shape.
